Night yawned as he awoke from another nap. The dens of Pinepack surrounded his, locking him in. What a stupid thought, he told himself. As the alpha male, thinking of himself as trapped was ridiculous. But his dream... Night shook himself. There was prey to bring down and a border to mark. He didn't have time for sleep and memories.

May and Dawn howled to gather the pack. A storm was pelting down, and the dens were at risk of being flooded, so they had to seek other shelter. "Yukon! Dust!" Dawn howled. May held the scruff of her pups' necks in her jaws.
