Dawn felt a wave of sympathy for him as he told his story. As she stared into Yukon's eyes, she felt a nearly overwhelming roar of emotion within her; it was so strong that it surprised her.

Yukon suddenly looked away, he inhaled deeply "Anyway That's my story." He said, as though he had just told some awesome tale of fun. "Let's keep going." Even though he tried to smile, his eyes were still full of sadness, aand his heart burned with anger, 'Why can't I just say it!' He thought to himself. 'I want her to be my mate. Its easy, what am I afraid of its just a couple words.'
"DAWN I LOVE YOU!" He suddenly and accidentally blurted out. He froze!

Her ears suddenly lifted, and she sniffed the air. "Cougar," she growled.
Chuma lifted his nose to the air and caught a whiff of Cougar. "Oh boy.." He growled.

May climbed onto the Great Rock and howled, "Stormpack! We must drive off the cougar!"

In the trees, a tan, lithe shape was moving.
Chuma watched the Cougar quietly as he slowly approached it for a better look.

Shadow was out hunting, he had been trying to run down a young doe, but had lost her in a thicket. He panted heavily as he jogged through the woods, he looked up and spotted Nyra. "Hey." He smiled walking up and laying down

Nyra released an eye and glance at him, "hey." She yawned, opening the other. She detected his pant, "you seemed beaten."

Bem watched Shade like a hawk, his eyes didn't leave him not once. "Just give up already!" He sneered.

"Not even close." Shade shot forward, he leapt over Bem, and bolted towards Swift.
Swift snarled, fear filling her eyes. "Bem Help!" She cried.

Nyra released an eye and glance at him, "hey." She yawned, opening the other. She detected his pant, "you seemed beaten."

Shadow chuckled "I am. Stupid deer gave me the sliP!" he rolled onto his side. "You seem rested." He smiled

Nyra laughed silently, "That's because I'm enjoying the heat from the sun rays." She smiled, pawing at his snout.

Bem dashed towards Swift quickly, and gave Shade a murderous glare. "Leave her alone!" He said in a snarl.

Shade snapped his fangs reaching around Bem, aiming for Swift's face.
Swift snarled, her leg still stuck. She pulled back, squeezing her eyes shut readying for the bite.

Nyra laughed silently, "That's because I'm enjoying the heat from the sun rays." She smiled, pawing at his snout.

Shadow sighed. "Lucky." He reached over, playfully pulling at her ear.
