Starling lunged forward and easily snapped his teeth around the next, large fish to swim by. Unfortunately, his lunge set him off balance. The fish flopped wildly, slipped out of his mouth, and, with Starling's desperate snap to catch it again, brought the black he-wolf into the water with it.
Coughing and cursing, Starling climbed out of the water. "It WAS easy. I swear, the fish have gotten faster this time of year," he said sheepishly.

Mist laughed, "Ok. So like this?" she asked as she positioned herself like he had.
 
Yukon stormed into the den site. His eyes flashed with anger. "Yukina!" He bellowed.

Yukina lay on a small mound of dirt, she jumped turning to face Yukon. "What's wrong?" She asked softly.

"You know well what's wrong! How dare you hurt Dawn like that! How dare you try to take my love for her and turn it into hatred! Did you think I wouldn't find out?" Yukon snarled.

Yukina backed away. "Yukon I'm sorry, I.....I....I was just playing a joke. I was mad, she took you away from me, you're supposed to take care of me." Yukina whimpered.

Yukon growled. "Yukina you aren't a pup anymore! You can take care of yourself!" Yukon paced, his anger boiling up. "You need to learn to take care of yourself! Maybe you should live without a pack for awhile!"

Yukina growled. "You Can't Do That!" She snarled, "You are not my boss. "

Yukon stared her down. "I am your older brother and your Beta!" He said each word with a growl.

Yukina was breathing heavy, trying not to cry or whine. "FINE!" She howled and raceD away.
Instantly Yukon regretted it. But he knew he couldn't chase after her. He lowered his head and walked into his cave, he laid his head on his paws and rested.
 
Starling grinned. "Uh, yeah."
He got into the same crouch a foot or so away from her. "And when you see a fish..."
He lunged forward and caught a small, thinner one in his mouth.
"You do that," he finished after spitting out on the bank.

Mist nodded. She spotted a medium sized fish and lunged forward, sinking her teeth into its flesh. She set it down on the shore and remarked," That wasn't has hard as I thought it would be!"
 
"It's pretty fun once you know how!" Starling said cheerfully as he shook the last of the water from his fur. He gulped down his pitiful catch and waited for a better one.
 
After a few more tries, Starling managed to nab one that he knew would fill him up. He finished it off and turned to Mist. "Do you want to explore somewhere?" he asked awkwardly.
