Kyra and Leah nodded and fanned out quietly, their black coats making them blend into the shadows

(No. No, it was not all Starling was doing...)

Starling nodded, uncertainly lowering himself when he was a good few yards away from everyone else. Nyx trotted around the other side of the herd. Storm was still heading in their direction after hurriedly burying his earlier meal.
