"Ack!" Faedon yelped, and stumbled a bit. "Watch where you're going!" she snapped, but blinked when she realized it was Phoenix. "Oh, hey."
Phoenix, a bit taken back, smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, my bad. Didn't see you."
"It's alright," she said coolly, sinking back into a sitting position. She wasn't relaxed, however; instead, her form was rigid again.
Phoenix, offered the rabbit. "Got it for you." he grinned.
Faedon blinked with surprise. "Th-thank you." She looked at him, and then back down to the rabbit. She realized something suddenly: She trusted Phoenix; maybe even more so than she did some of her packmates. When she realized this, a side of Faedon far different from the one Stonepack knew her as seemed to shine through her cold, prickly exterior. She took a small bite of the rabbit, and wolfed it down.
Phoenix touched her shoulder and wagged playfully. "Hey, um, wanna just.... take a jog?"
After eating the rabbit, Faedon raised her head. She licked her chops to clean off the blood, and wagged her tail. "Sure." Her eyes were bright, and a small grin played at the corners of her muzzle.
Phoenix smiled, and ducked low into the grasses. He vanished, and only the sound of his thundering paws could be heard.
Faedon shot after him like a bullet. Her red pelt rippled with waves in the wind as she ran with graceful strides.
