The doe fell onto the ground roughly. Cody hopped down, and sank his jaws into the deer's throat. With a nasty squelching sound, he tore the doe's windpipe, and the doe bled out beside him. Cody's paws were stained crimson red with the sticky blood.

Willowsong drew in a paw, leaving a gash in the pine needles below her.
"Now, how do we get the pelt?" She asked, furrowing her eyebrows.

Unbeknownst to the she-wolf, dusk was approaching, and so was the time to meet with Kodiak and Atra.

"Nip it around this way." Cody tore the scruff first, and began tearing it down the rest of the way. He did his best to be as precise as possible.
