"Oh.... from a pack?" Phoenix smiled genuinely. "What are you doing in the loner territory?"

"I wanted to take a walk outside of my territory, just for a while." That was only partially the truth; the main reason Faedon was away was because she wanted to get away from Stonepack's wolves. She just felt so lonely, and part of her was considering leaving the pack. The only thing stopping her was the fact that her parents were there. She couldn't leave them; it would break their hearts.

"Thanks cool." Phoenix nodded. "Hey, there's a small group of deer in the part of the territory.. I was looking for a wolf to hunt with... and I'll only need a piece. You could have the rest of it..." he offered.

Faedon's eyes lit up like the lights on a Christmas tree. That's the first time anyone's offered to hunt with me in... I don't know how long! "I'd be glad to." Ever so slightly, her tail began to wag.

Phoenix yipped excitedly. "C'mon!" he barked, and bounded away. His long, powerful strides sent him flying across the field.

Faedon blinked again. She felt her guard slipping away... For the first time that day, Faedon grinned, and ran after him. Her lithe muscles moved smoothly under her pelt as her legs took long, swift strides that tore up ground beneath her.

Phoenix sprinted through the undergrowth, and then stopped. Before them was a group of young bucks.
Faedon almost crashed into Phoenix's side as she slid to a stop. She peered through the undergrowth, gazing at the bucks.
There were two bucks fighting, and one injured. "We could take down two.." Phoenix murmured softly.
Faedon nodded. "You wanna go in first?"
Phoenix rushed in, leaping, and taking one of the fighting bucks by the neck.
Faedon sprang forwards after him. She threw herself onto the other buck, sinking her jaws into its throat. It stumbled backwards, keeling over onto its knees as Faedon tore its windpipe.
Phoenix killed his buck, andd jumped off befor it crushed him.
Faedon jumped down a few seconds later. She grinned, "There we go." She tilted her head back to howl for her pack out of habit, but then remembered that she was hunting with a loner. She was surprised at how quickly she'd accepted this stranger. Drooling, she leaned down and took a bite out of the buck's neck.
Phoenix tore a chunk of meat from his buck's leg. "Well, this is all I need. I'll go now so you can call your pack."

(Okay guys, I gtg. I'll either be on late tonight when everyone will be gone, or tomorrow morning. Don't do any major plot twists [attacks, loners joining packs, pups, etc] without me, please! Silkies and wildriverswolf can accept charries. Cya! :frow

(Bye! :D)

"N-no." Faedon said that before she could stop herself. "I don't want them to come."
You gonna reply to this, Silkies?
"Oh?......... Why?" Phoenix asked, setting his chunk of meat down.

Kodiak had started to charge forward again just as West made his attack. The two males collided, and Kodiak grunted as the wind was knocked out of him. He growled as West's fangs dug into his chest, and he felt flesh and fur tear; he half-sailed in the air, and half stumbled to where West had just stood seconds before. Kodiak lunged again; he had his eyes on West's muzzle, and looked like he was about to snap at his face again. But instead, at the last second, Kodiak's weight shifted and he attempted to bowl him over with his sheer weight.
Before Kodiak hit West, a white blue smashed into him, snarling madly. Sierra snapped wildly at the much bigger male's neck and punched out with her paws.

Crashing into Kodiak was like crashing headfirst into a brick wall. Kodiak hardly even grunted as the much smaller she-wolf crashed into him; he whirled around, and snapped his massive jaws at her face wildly, giving Sierra very little time to get away. If she didn't yank her head away in time, the wounds Kodiak inflicted would probably scar Sierra for life.

Kodiak spat out a mouthful of fur and blood beside him. He grinned with a look of pure malice and hatred in his eyes, and a second later, he lunged forward again. This time, he aimed for his ears. If West somehow managed to escape, Kodiak would give him a permanent scar.

West wasn't quick enough, his ear was split nearly half way down. He felt himselfabout to take a step back to get away from Kodiak, he allowed his body posture to stay in the run away position, then faster then he thought he could he dropped low and came up fast his teeth gripping onto Kodiak's chest

Sierra was sprawled on the ground, belly up. She sensed his attack, but moved just barely in time. His teeth cut through her muzzle easily, and she shrieked in pain. In a split second, she dove for his belly, mouth agape.

You gonna reply to this, Silkies? "Oh?......... Why?" Phoenix asked, setting his chunk of meat down.
"Because..." Faedon found herself almost unable to stop her words. This wolf was a complete stranger... but strangely enough, she felt safe around him. "Where do I begin? Quite frankly, they don't even care about me. When I talk to them, they're almost always so exasperated, like I'm such a problem in their life. They ignore me when I try to make friends with them. And before you say I'm blowing things out of proportion, no, I'm not. This has been going on ever since I was a pup. And don't even get me started on the wolves who are mated... For goodness sakes, all they ever do is give each other moon eyes!" It was obvious that Faedon had been bottling up her emotions for a long, long time. She was so frustrated by it, she wasn't even able to stay on one subject at a time. Her voice, which was initally calm, had now risen in her anger... and deep hurt. "I hate, hate, HATE it! The only reason I haven't left yet is because my parents are the alphas, and even then I'm still considering it! Heck, if I left, I bet they wouldn't even notice!" By this time, Faedon had turned away, so that Phoenix couldn't see the tears in her eyes. She hadn't cried in... she couldn't remember the last time she'd cried. Her voice was now quieted. "The wolves in that pack only want to be with "cool" wolves I guess..."

Kodiak jumped away, but her fangs cut a long and shallow cut along his leg. He snarled at the pain, and lunged for her again, instead trying to use his sheer weight to crush her.

As this was happening, Senkah, Hades, and Faedon (this is before she meets Phoenix) crashed into the clearing. Senkah's sapphire blue eyes surveyed the clearing, and she sniffed the air. Her face twisted into a frightening snarl. "ATRA!"

"SIERRA!"
West lowered his head and barreled at Kodiak, he shove hard with his back legs and rammed into his ribs

Because of Kodiak's sheer weight, he wasn't very fast and West smashed into him. But because of Kodiak's weight, that also put West at a disadvantage; since Kodiak was much heavier than West was, crashing into Kodiak would most likely harm West more than it harmed Kodiak. Kodiak growled as the wind was knocked out of him, and a small scratch was ripped open on his side, but his leap wasn't interrupted. He landed a few yards behind Sierra; he looked like he was about to attack again, but he didn't. Instead, he tilted his head back and howled, "DARKPACK! Come to your alpha!"

A black wolf prowled through a forest, a rabbit in his mouth. The rodent squirmed and squeaked, and Wildfire quickly broke his back to end his misery. Swallowing, his ears pricked. He heard the sounds of fighting deeper in the forest.

"It sounds like a fight." Akira curled her lips. She hadn't been in a good fight in... ages, it seemed.
Amber jumped to her paws when she heard Kodiak's howl "Well I guess we should check it out!"She said and started running towards the source of the howl.
