Faedon subdued a yelp of surprise as Moss charged for her. She fell as Moss bit down on her forelegs, and Faedon hissed with pain as a ribbon of blood dripped down onto the ground. She reached up, and snapped at Moss' neck where she'd already been wounded. Hopefully, Faedon would make that wound large enough to kill Moss...

Ebony saw Ash's eyes look over his shoulder. He guessed a wolf was right behind him. Right before Zero jumped, Ebony grabbed his father's scruff and whipped him around so that he took Zero's attack.

(Yes please! :D)

Zero yelped in surprise just as Ebony did that. She hurriedly shifted her weight so that Ebony would take the brunt of it, but Ash still got hit. "Worthless scum!" Zero spat at Ebony. She looked over at Ash; she was concerned, but she knew very well that even though he was old, he could kick butt. "Ash, you okay?"

(Yay!)
Ash grunted when she hit, and fell when Ebony dropped his scruff. "Don't talk, Zero!" he snapped, and slammed into his son. Ebony snarled, snapping at Ash's face. Ash's muzzle had a long gash running down it when the two wolves sprang to their paws.

Zero stepped away. "Sheesh, just trying to help," she growled under her breath. "Alright, then." She turned, and raced back into the battle.

Deep in Emeraldpack's land, Tundra laid in her den, tossing and turning as she tried to sleep. "Gah! What is going on?!" she growled, pricking her ears at the distant sounds of fighting. "This has been going on all night..." she muttered. Knowing that she wouldn't be able to sleep until she learned what it was, she set off at a brisk trot towards the fighting.

Phoenix looked at her in silence for a while. "....... Oh, Faedon... I'm sorry..." was all he said. He couldn't think of anything else.

Faedon blinked back her tears. Quit it. Crying shows weakness, and others like preying upon that weakness. "Sorry. I'm... rambling." He's a stranger. Why would he care? For some reason, Faedon hoped that this wolf would grow to be a good friend of hers. But, by ranting away like that, she'd probably blown any chance of that. "I don't mean to..." Her voice trailed away, and she looked down. "Sorry. I'll... go." She rose to her paws, and began heading back to Stonepack. She started at a brisk trot, but it soon grew to a full sprint. Her loneliness had messed her up.
"Ah..... um..." Phoenix muttered as she sprinted away. He paused, then bolted after her. "Faedon! Wait!"

Faedon flattened her ears against his words, and tried to block him out. What was he going to say to her? And why did he not want her to leave? Faedon didn't want to stop running... but her desire for companionship stopped her. I'm gonna regret this... She skidded to a stop, and turned around to face him. "Yeah?"
Phoenix's ears drooped, so that he looked like a muscular pup. "Um.... feel free to say no, but... want to meet me here tomorrow?" he asked.

Ash screeched when Ebony yanked on his ear, tearing it at the corner. Blood spattered over the old wolf's coat. He punched his son with his front paws in the gut and sent him reeling.

(Do you have Phoenix's pic?)

Faedon blinked, and stood there for just a second. She was unable to believe that someone was actually wanting to be her friend; at least, that was how Faedon registered it. Faedon's face lit up, and for the first time in a long, long while, Faedon smiled genuinely. "I'd love to." Her tail started to wag.

Phoenix grinned. "Okay, well.... see you then." he yipped, turned, and bounded away.

Tundra raced to the loner lands, her muscles moving gracefully under her thick pelt. She knew that there was fighting going on, but she got a sinking feeling anyway as she smelled blood in the air. Stonepack and Darkpack, she realized as the scents of the two packs hit her nose. She skidded to stop once she reached the clearing, watching the fight in the shadows.

(Daw, he's cute)

Faedon watched him go for a second, blinking a bit. Deep in her chest, she felt something she hadn't felt in a long time... happiness. She gave a small yip of joy, and raced back to Stonepack's densite.
