~Run With The Pack~ Wolf Roleplay

"Scum," Akira spat at Quartz. She looked back up to Nebrivo, and gave him a sneer. "You take good care of her for me during the next few hours, okay Romeo? I think we all know that this is your precious beloved mate's last night alive." Her voice was practically dripping with sarcasm, and she spat the last few words out like they were poison. "Unless you'd like to go with her, but I think you're too much of a cowardly pup for that." She spat at Quartz's body, before sailing over Nebrivo's head in a powerful, swift leap. When she landed, she kicked up another puff of dirt and debris to hide her while she waited for either Nebrivo and Quartz to flee, or for Nebrivo to attack her. Either way, as far as Akira was concerned, she'd killed Quartz and was ready to take Nebrivo, too.

(Quartz needs to be a mother before she dies! D: Noooo, not Moss!)

(Just bumping this so Chickenfan doesn't lose it)

Ebony saw Ash's eyes look over his shoulder. He guessed a wolf was right behind him. Right before Zero jumped, Ebony grabbed his father's scruff and whipped him around so that he took Zero's attack.

(Yes please! :D)

Zero yelped in surprise just as Ebony did that. She hurriedly shifted her weight so that Ebony would take the brunt of it, but Ash still got hit. "Worthless scum!" Zero spat at Ebony. She looked over at Ash; she was concerned, but she knew very well that even though he was old, he could kick butt. "Ash, you okay?"

(Yay!)
Ash grunted when she hit, and fell when Ebony dropped his scruff. "Don't talk, Zero!" he snapped, and slammed into his son. Ebony snarled, snapping at Ash's face. Ash's muzzle had a long gash running down it when the two wolves sprang to their paws.

Zero stepped away. "Sheesh, just trying to help," she growled under her breath. "Alright, then." She turned, and raced back into the battle.

Deep in Emeraldpack's land, Tundra laid in her den, tossing and turning as she tried to sleep. "Gah! What is going on?!" she growled, pricking her ears at the distant sounds of fighting. "This has been going on all night..." she muttered. Knowing that she wouldn't be able to sleep until she learned what it was, she set off at a brisk trot towards the fighting.
Ash screeched when Ebony yanked on his ear, tearing it at the corner. Blood spattered over the old wolf's coat. He punched his son with his front paws in the gut and sent him reeling.

Tundra raced to the loner lands, her muscles moving gracefully under her thick pelt. She knew that there was fighting going on, but she got a sinking feeling anyway as she smelled blood in the air. Stonepack and Darkpack, she realized as the scents of the two packs hit her nose. She skidded to stop once she reached the clearing, watching the fight in the shadows.
Ebony howled, grabbing his father's scruff and tearing it to pieces. Ash shrieked, kicking out with his back legs. "You'll die today, dad." Ebony grunted, and leaped. Ash returned the attack and the two wolves clashed. They were both evenly matched. Ebony for youth and speed, Ash for experiance and strength.

Phoenix looked at her in silence for a while. "....... Oh, Faedon... I'm sorry..." was all he said. He couldn't think of anything else.

Faedon blinked back her tears. Quit it. Crying shows weakness, and others like preying upon that weakness. "Sorry. I'm... rambling." He's a stranger. Why would he care? For some reason, Faedon hoped that this wolf would grow to be a good friend of hers. But, by ranting away like that, she'd probably blown any chance of that. "I don't mean to..." Her voice trailed away, and she looked down. "Sorry. I'll... go." She rose to her paws, and began heading back to Stonepack. She started at a brisk trot, but it soon grew to a full sprint. Her loneliness had messed her up.
"Ah..... um..." Phoenix muttered as she sprinted away. He paused, then bolted after her. "Faedon! Wait!"

Faedon flattened her ears against his words, and tried to block him out. What was he going to say to her? And why did he not want her to leave? Faedon didn't want to stop running... but her desire for companionship stopped her. I'm gonna regret this... She skidded to a stop, and turned around to face him. "Yeah?"
Phoenix's ears drooped, so that he looked like a muscular pup. "Um.... feel free to say no, but... want to meet me here tomorrow?" he asked.

(Do you have Phoenix's pic?)

Faedon blinked, and stood there for just a second. She was unable to believe that someone was actually wanting to be her friend; at least, that was how Faedon registered it. Faedon's face lit up, and for the first time in a long, long while, Faedon smiled genuinely. "I'd love to." Her tail started to wag.

Phoenix grinned. "Okay, well.... see you then." he yipped, turned, and bounded away.

(Daw, he's cute)

Faedon watched him go for a second, blinking a bit. Deep in her chest, she felt something she hadn't felt in a long time... happiness. She gave a small yip of joy, and raced back to Stonepack's densite.
(Timeskip?)

Quote: Nebrivo leapt for the same wolf, intent on protecting his mate.

(Aw, shucks. D:)

Akira abandoned her fight with Mist, and leaped away just in time to miss Nebrivo and Quartz. "Babies," she taunted them. "Can't fight for yourselves? You're so weak you have to have your precious mate come and rescue you? Hah! This'll be a breeze." She wheeled around, and kicked up a cloud of dust in their eyes with the dirt she and Mist had torn up during their fight. This hid her and gave her the element of surprise until she attacked.

Tundra's sharp eyes fell upon the two fighting wolves. She set her jaw as she watched; even though she'd been considering leaving for Darkpack for a while, she wasn't sure who she should side with, or if she should get involved at all. She slunk around, trying to get a better view of what was going on.

(Sure)

Faedon blinked her eyes open groggily. She looked at her wounds, and sighed; what a rough and chaotic fight that had been. She suddenly remembered that she was meeting Phoenix today, and she started to shoot to her paws. She gave a small yelp as searing pain shot through her wounds, but she forced herself to her feet. She glanced around camp, and made her way towards the loner land.

(Quartz needs to be a mother before she dies! D: Noooo, not Moss!)
Nebrivo snarled in rage and watched Moss intently for her next move. Every nerve in his body told him to run, and he would have had this been some ordinary dominance scuffle or Darkpack-StonePack brawl. He usually avoided those. But this fight... This fight threatened to take away the only thing he truly loved. Snarling, he forced down those feeling of fear and submission and rose to his full height, which was not much. Leaping through the cloud of dust with his forelegs, claws, and fangs extended, he aimed directly for his opponent.. And made a well placed blow with one paw, raking his claws down the side of her face, barely missing her eye and instead clawing her eyelid. (If that's okay. If not I'll change it.)

Quote:
Akira cackled as Nebrivo lunged for her. She swerved her head out of the way when she saw his paw coming through, but his claw still slashed a cut on the side of her head and she growled. She used the pain technique very often, and the fact that she'd almost fallen victim to it infuriated her. Akira was Kodiak's daughter, and she'd gotten some of his size; her build was sleeker than her father, and she was faster, but she still easily dwarfed Nebrivo. She planted her paws firmly on the ground, and snapped her jaws right at the side of his face, going for either an ear or an eye.

(it's fine, as long as the other person decides the injury and if it hits or not.)

Nebrivo snarled at her and tried to dodge as she aimed for his only good eye. Fighting was bad enough with his very slowly deteriorating vision, and to lose his only good eye was worse than a death sentence: it meant having to be cared for like an elder for the remainder of his life. But he dodged the attack, only to get his ear tip caught. This was an incredibly painful bite, and he could feel her incisors sinking into the fleshy tip of his ear.

Akira smirked as she tore Nebrivo's ear, her gaze full of malice and hatred. "Baby," she taunted him like she had done to Quartz. "You're as bad a fighter as that worthless mate of yours!" Right after she said that, she leaped away just out of lunging range in a swift jump. That was the problem with fighting Akira; she was so quick, it was seemingly impossible to get a decent blow in before she slipped away. "I can see why you two had to come in together," she added with a sneer. "You can't fight for yourselves without looking like fools!" Her body was shadowed by the pine trees casting their shadows far behind her, and the moonlight only illuminated her face. "Make your choice, little pup. Me, or your beloved mate. She's about to die, you know, in case you're blind." Her jaws snapped and made a hollow sound with each word.
