Luna's ears flattened, her eyes watched Senkah warily, but she trusted the older female. She gave her a small sharp nod. "okay." She whispered.

Mari rolled in the dirt, coating her wet fur with it. The sun was oddly hot that day and this helped.

He spotted Mari up ahead, his eyes filled with happiness and he grinned around the deer leg he held, stolen from his pack stores. The only difference he worried about was whether she would recognize him with his large X shaped scar on his chest and his torn ear. "hi," he whispered as he walked up.

Willow tentatively stepped away from Cody as he dozed off, her amber eyes intent on the nearly frozen creek only paw-steps away. The moonlight blotted by an overhead tree, the white she-wolf let the glimmering ice guide her towards her destination. Taking a few more careful steps forward, she stepped to the ice. It was thin. Sticking out a paw, Willow broke the ice right in front of her. Sweeping away the shattered ice with her callused paw, the she-wolf prodded the ice further until it gave way to a fairly large hole, black water inside. Just as she was about to dip her muzzle in, her front paws slid forward. Unable to catch herself in time, Willow plunged into the icy water with a loud splash, but not before her forehead scraped against the ice.

Zero reached down and gave Mason a hard nip on the ear. It was enough to leave a dark red welt. "You watch yourself, pup!" she snapped. "Pups like you end up dead!"

Hunter couldn't bear to watch. He knew that Mason needed to be reprimanded, but he couldn't do it himself. These pups were the last things he had of Azar, and he was sheltering and protecting them at an unreasonable level.

Mason looked down and muttered. "Sorry Zero... Sorry Aella." Mason got off and padded over to his brother and started to play fight.

Aella looked past Zero and saw her son. She tilted her head to one side. She slightly smiled. And now she was in a gaze. Who is that He-wolf? He's so... so... Her thoughts trailed off and she couldn't help the fact that her heart was beating as loud as eagles wings when she saw the pup.

Cody trotted out into the forest. A thin layer of snow blanketed the ground, but the ground could still be seen underneath it. The pine needles and branches were encased in covers of ice from the freezing rain last night. The sky was a brownish color from the clouds that promised more snow very soon. Cody grumbled about it under his breath, but stopped when he heard something. Something just fell in the river? He thought that it was probably just a log or something, a branch falling off a tree from all the weight of the ice. But something told him that he should check it out...
