Stone went to the rendezvous place with Hades, watching the group of caribou. "That one's lagging behind," he murmured to Hades, pointing with his nose to one that appeared ill.
 
Wren stepped in the stream. "Gah!" she yelped, jumping back. "This water is COLD!"

Elkiya padded out to the stream and sat on her haunches. The river bubbled, filled with fish. She licked her lips and thought about how good freshly caught fish would taste.
 
Stone slunk low to the ground, making his way to the sick caribou. He resisted the urge to pounce right now; he needed the pack here with him.

Whisper observed from a nearby young, fresh tree. She thought about to aid Stone.

Stone noticed her coming over. "Thank you," he mouthed, as Hades came around. The reindeer, which would soon be their meal, was now surrounded.
