Faedon anxiously sat at the Snowpack border as dawn broke. She could hear a loner in her territory, but Senkah had told her not to go back until the message was delivered. Lifting her head again, she howled to make the Snowpack wolves aware of her presence, still on her side of the border.
Thunder's grat ears snapped forward. He lowered his head and trotted toward the border.

"Who are you?!" he snarled, padding towards Faedon.

Faedon swallowed before continuing, making sure no other wolves were around, "We found a loner who came from Darkpack. They were following her, and trying to kill her. She said that she'd heard Eagle's plan to destroy the packs, and she couldn't live after what she'd heard. We know this is true, because a few Darkpack wolves were chasing her. She said that they would start by sending a spy to Snowpack, and luring the wolves away and picking them off. Then, when there were next to no wolves left, they'd just take the territory."
