Zero suddenly became a bit tense. "Did you see that loner Lacy and Thunder ran into today?"

Silver stretched out on a warm rock to sun.

Darkwynd stopped with her ears pricked forward. The turkey scent forgotten, she spotted another wolf not far away. Head lowered, she moved forward, stopping a few yards from where Silver lay.

"If he's got Darkpack on him, and he does join, I'll be keeping a close eye on him." Timber growled.

Pine blinked, a little taken aback. Slowly, she asked, "I'm Pine."

Chase's body slowly right, he was a tall lanky male and his eyes were a warm yellowish gold. He smiled at Pine. "I'm sorry I scared you." He said "I'm a loner and new to these lands." He turned his head, playing sorrowful. "I got lonely hunting by myself and was only looking for someone to hunt with."

"Who are you?" Lacy snarled, her ears flat against her, but her head and tail high.

Thorn watched her and the he-wolf. His ears back, 'they clearly have the air of alphas,' he thought. He slowly lowered his head and tail, showing he was submitting. "My name is Thorn." He said calmly. "I'm a loner."

Lacy turned to Thunder, her eyes looked worried, knowing he smelled lightly of Dark Pack. She looked back at the loner. "Why do you smell like our enemy."

Thorn glanced at Thunder before answering."TTheir alphas attacked me because I got to close to the borders." He whispered
