Mist trotted through loner lands near Sage Pack.. She was tracking a rabbit. The scent was fresh, and she just couldn't wait to catch it. The scent of Sage Pack drifted to her nose. She realized the rabbit went into there territory. Mist always wanted to join the pack, but knew it wouldn't help her if she trespassed into the territory.

"Oh, thank you!" Zero thanked him gratefully, and gently took the rabbit's leg in her jaws.
Timber waited until she had a piece, then took one. He smiled at her.

Zero suddenly became a bit tense. "Did you see that loner Lacy and Thunder ran into today?"
"No." Timber's ears perked, then flattened. "What did he want?"

"I think he wants to join," she said. "He has Darkpack scent on him, though. I don't trust him."
"If he's got Darkpack on him, and he does join, I'll be keeping a close eye on him." Timber growled.

Zero nodded. After a few minutes of silence, she said, "Do you ever think life is... you know, lonely? I mean, we're in a pack, but... sorry, I'm rambling," she finished sheepishly.

Thunder paused for only a second. "We welcome new members, but for a period of time, you will need earn our trust." his eyes were hard once more. 

Thorn ducked his head in a respectful bow. "Thank you!" he said, his tail wagging. "I will prove myself, I promise!"

Lacy smiled inwardly at his spirit, but still for the first time she was wary of a loner. she shook her fears away, and turned, "Come i'll show you the dens."

Sierra pulled away. "Good." she said, and padded over to her den, where she had put a rabbit. "Hungry?" she tossed him half. 

"Absolutely." he smiled and began devouring the rabbit.

Aki woke, his wounds were beginnig to scar over and the infection was gone. his ribs felt a great deal better as well, he could breath easy now, but he looked at his leg with anger, it was healing but not fast enough. He padded out of the den on three legs. he sat in the morning's chilly air, a sweet wind ruffled his fur, he inhaled the musky scent of the forest. he threw his head back and let out a quiet happy howl

Chase's body slowly righted, he was a tall lanky male and his eyes were a warm yellowish gold. He smiled at Pine. "I'm sorry I scared you." He said "I'm a loner and new to these lands." He turned his head down, playing sorrowful. "I got lonely hunting by myself and was only looking for someone to hunt with."
