Okay, I have a secure Fort Knox type run with hardware cloth and welded wire and aviary netting on the top. Let's be honest here, I have two. One for the standards and one for the bantams. Standard run is 10 x 16, bantam is 6 x 10. I want to make another run around the enclosed runs. I like speckledhens runs, with welded wire and green t-posts. Just for nice days when I'm home they can expand there scratching ground. So, how high? I will also put electric around the outside bottom. I say this because I have electric horse fence on one side already for the horse pasture. So it would be easy to extend it around the outside of the coops and run and extra run. What do you think and any additional ideas or suggestions? Anyone else do this. I like to think of it like free ranging, as free as I'm comfortable with. I know I have a fox with pups and several raccoons.
