Run/Yard roof question

Ok, that all sounds great. I think we are going to put a metal roof coming off the coop itself and the. Some wooden ones in the corner that are low enough for them to jump on but also gives a shaded space. I think I’ll add some bushes too just to give them something else. But still cover the whole thing with something to protect them.

I do know one lady that grows stuff up against the fence, so the bits that grow into the run can be eaten by the chickens, but the plants are outside of the run, so aren't killed by the chickens.

Here is a photo (CDs tie with fishing line and 2 stainless steel nuts as weigh to keep it from tangle) that might help to dither the hawk, fox, and other away. I don't think it going to work with raccoon. I haven't seen the hawk in my property in about 2 years. I moved my box coop recently and still working on the run for Ixworth x Bresse project so it is a mess.
