Runner Duck Hatch-a-Long! 2021

I did have an issue with humidity being way too low last night at. It went down to 10% eek.
Hoping that didn’t mess anything up within their first 24 hours.
It’s been stable since at 45-50%
this happened to me too! A couple of days ago one of my incubators dropped down to 10% and the other to 19%!!! I hope they're okay!

What humidities are y'all working with? I can't seem to get either of my hygrometers to read 50-60%, they're either 70% or 30%... I'm just worried about the air cell growing enough and being soft enough for internal pipping it seems really tricky....

I incubate mine at 45%-50% humidity. What incubator are you using?

@DucksAreBest If my humidities have been resting at 65-70% for the first 10-15 days do you think they'll make it? All eggs are alive and I've tried to lower humidity now but will they still have a good shot at hatching despite high humidity in first weeks?

Yes, they will hatch. Just try to maintain 45%-50% (45% would be the best) humidity before lockdown, so that their air cells would grow.

I’m also using a Little Giant incubator with the digital face. the hygrometer on it is stuck at 48% so i’m ignoring it and using one that I calibrated. I also have two thermometers in there because I trust NOTHING lol

My humidity level is about 45%-52%.
