is there anything I can do to keep it more stable? it usually stays at the right temp but will occasionally hit 100 degrees stay like that for a bit and then go back down...
Sounds like the thermostat is working. When the eggs get older, they generate heat. You get to save electricity with Duck heat!

Day 10 for us today. I haven't misted or cooled (other than the daily candling ;) ) but this is the day to start doing that. I think I will go ahead with the misting and maybe leaving the lid off for 10 minutes while I do a quick candle. Is anyone else doing this?

Still 12/12 for the embryo growth!

I personally havent misted just because I washed my eggs first so they have no bloom and so I’m nervous about introducing potential bacteria to my semi sterile environment (there’s a lot of mold in my area and my house so my mister could attract bacteria since its sitting out) anyways thats my paranoid rationale and im still 10/10 on embryo growth on days 20 &18! I’ve also been pretty bad at cool down so we’ll see how that works but from what ive read, duck eggs can hatch under hens and chicken eggs supposedly don’t get cooldown so we’ll see how my hatch goes!!

okay yall so these are my day 20 eggs. I had them WAY too humid the first week and a half so I ran them at a dryer 20-30 for two days and then at 40-50 % since then. But i have no clue if these air cells are too small (i feel like they are) can any one help/give advice?? the second lines are day 20 (today) air cells

The air cells look fine to me.

@MGG, what do you think?
