Runner duck... Not doing well...

I have a 1 yr. old female runner duck. My husband noticed yesterday that she has a limp and will only run a small distance without needing to lay down. I looked her over today and she is molting, feeling very thin to me, her nose as a bit of stuff in it, but I think it is manly food, I don't think she has been for a swim since yesterday. Any suggestions about what could be going on?

Sorry, Jen - I can only suggest keeping her in a small space with food and water easily accessible. If sheseems cold, I'd give her heat, etc.
This same type of thing had happened to us twice last year - one duck made it - just got better - the other one did not. Worms? Respiratory issues?

I have no clue either, but I would recommend posting under the waterfowl section, that is where most of the major duck people spend their time or maybe PMing Wifezilla. She is a duck guru
