Does anyone have a list of desirable traits for runners?
Mine are upright and have a pretty good profile.
One thing I need to know is if a drake is marked down for not having his curly tail feather. My John seems to have lost his.
Also, I want to show one of my ducks who is coloured. No separate class for them, just "adult duck, male or female".
I know conditioning is part of our fair's judging standards and I also know both of the ones I want to show are in pretty good shape.

Sorry to nag. Yes, I know I should have a copy of APA but I haven't got one. None available through interlibrary loan either.
I went ahead and filled in the entry form because they were due yesterday.
So, what's the verdict? Will my drake even be looked at without his drake feather? He's just started to regrow it but I doubt it will be much bigger by fair time in less than 2 weeks.

Thanks so much!
Actually there are only 2 classes for ducks. Separate class for each gender, all breeds allowed.
It's a small fair, but we do get professional judges for it.
How small? Well, I got 1st prize for my duck eggs last year - in a class of 1!

This is a pair of Gray Runners we got as adults from Holdereads show stock.
