Runner duckling?

The picture is of my three week old crested black and white runner I ordered from Ideal. So far, her gait and stance are no different from the two Rouens I have that are the same age. I have never had a runner duck before. Will she eventually develop an upright stance? Or is really really something else (Black Swedish)?

It moves like the Rouens, but I've never seen how a little runner moves!

The stance in the picture is what is normal for her. We love her no matter what, but it's a bummer if she's not a runner, since my kids really wanted one.

Then I would guess its a Cayuga and still cute...also crested can have neurological problems because it's a Birth defect of the scull..

Makes me think Blk Swedish but some hatchery Runners don't have the stand up shape either. Just don't think I have ever seen one with the bib like yours. Sure are cute!

Mine does run after me, but so do my Rouens. The stance of yours isn't too different from mine though. I guess I'll have to wait and see how she grows.
