Runner x peking cross?

I was recently given a dozen eggs to hatch, they are brown runner crossed with peking. Im not familiar with ducks, this is the first time incubating duck eggs. Will this cross be sterile?

I don't believe so? But I'm not the foremost authority on duck verility. I know that crossing a mallard-based breed with a muscovy will produce sterile ducklings, but that's the most I know. Sorry I can't help more!

You gave me a little more hope. I was just wondering since they look so different. I know that geese breeding with wild geese produce sterile offspring but wasnt sure about ducks. Like i said im a newbie to raising ducks.

As both pekins and runners are mallard derived breeds, any ducklings that you hatch will not be sterile.
