I bought a hen from the feed store today and after we got her home and added her to the group and we seen she had a runny nose and it's broken at the end

I hope your bird will be ok. Now that she was in with your other birds, you probably ought to keep a close eye on them for the same thing.

    Best of luck!

Hi and welcome to BYC. A photo of the beak will help - it could have been trimmed, but either way her ailment is of most concern right now. I'm sure that the ER folks will be able to help.

    Best wishes

G’Day from down under Sabrina Roberts [IMG] Welcome!

I hope the folks on the ER Forum were able to help out.

I also hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out [IMG]
