*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

Lionkit looked at Lilyflight with wide-eyes, waiting for a reply
She knew she couldn’t lie. “Bramblestar is sick,” she meowed carefully. “But they have an herb that they think is a good cure.”

“He’s sick again?” he wailed. Not even his mother’s gentle grooming could help his worry.

Lilyflight nodded sadly and held both her kits close, licking their fur.

Lionkit hung his head sadly and let his tail droop

While he was asleep, Bramblestars chest started to tighten and make breathing difficult

“I know,” she murmured gently, continuing to groom them. “But he’s in the paws of StarClan now.”

Floodlight noticed the change in his breathing and put some tansy in front of his muzzle. “Eat as much of it as you can,” she ordered.

"Why?" Lionkit wailed. "Why does he have to be?"

Bramblestar did, but it didn't seem to do much. He gave her a shrug then stopped breathing altogether. Soon, he was taking another bite of the sparrow to re-infect himself and he made a 4 marks on the ground. "We'll stop when we get to one." He said grimly

“I don’t know,” she whispered, licking his little ears gently. “We just have to trust them.”

Barely able to stop herself from trembling, Floodlight gave him a petal. “Tell me if it looks like it has any layers,” she urged.
