*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

"Are you sure I won't just slow you down?" she asked as she padded along as quickly as she could.
"If she is hiding in grief, then you will be the best one to get her out of it." he explained quickly as they emerged into the forest. "We should check Rainpaw's grave first, I think that's where she would be if she isn't at camp."

Lilyflight nodded, trying to waste too much breath on talking. When they made it to the grave, she called Sunpaw's name, praying for an answer.

Sunpaw hopped down from the branches above them "Sorry that I worried you, I was going to go back before everyone woke up but then I had this dream..."
Lilyflight gave her a relieved lick, though because she had been so worried it was a bit rough. Then her ears pricked with interest. "What kind of dream?" she asked.

"I woke up in this lush green meadow and Rainpaw was only a few fox-lengths away. I tried calling to her but she didn't seem to hear me or see me, so I tried to run to her, but no matter how fast or how far I ran, I couldn't reach her." Sunpaw mewed sadly, looking at her paws.

Lilyflight looked down at her sadly, and gave her another lick. Softer this time, for comfort. She wrapped her tail around the young apprentice.

"I'm no medicine cat," Lilyflight told her gently. "But maybe it's her way of saying she's still there, even though you can't see each other? That she's not truly gone?"
Sunpaw padded over to the mound that was starting to have grass grow on it, and laid there for a moment, not saying anything. "I think you're right."
