Snowfrost lashed forward with a front paw and let out a hiss as another fox dove for the entrance. You’re not going on there! You’re not getting to the kits!
Rosepaw reared as the fox came near him and Snowfrost. He lashed out with both forepaws and made contact with both strikes, straight to its nose. "Take that, mange-pelt!" He spat
She hissed again and raked her claws down the fox’s side, and it backed up, clearly rethinking this. She let out another hiss, her eyes glittering wildly.
Blackblood quickly slid back out before a single drop of blood showered down onto him. He stared straight into the dying foxes eyes until the last of its life had left. Then without looking back, he sprinted toward the second one that was in front of Rosepaw and Snowfrost.
Snowfrost raked her claws just over its eyes, letting the flow of blood blind it. It squeaked and turned away from them, racing back into the forest.
Blackblood let out a growl of frustration as it raced away. His tail quivered, then without thinking, he gave pursuit. "You're not getting away alive!" He snarled under his breath
“Blackblood!” Lilyflight called. “Come back!”
Blackblood didn't hear her, or if he did, he gave no indication of it. He continued to follow it. He let out a snarl as he reached it and jumped onto it's back
“Blackblood!” she called again. “Get back here! That’s enough!”
Blackblood sunk his teeth into its throat, his eyes glittering with malice as he watched its life drain away. Once he had finished, he trotted back to them, tail high. "I'm ready to go now." He purred as if nothing had happened
