Blackblood woke up Beetlepaw and led him to the meeting place. The RiverClan cats were hiding in bushes and trees. "I'm gonna need you to fend off a fox for awhile."

Blackblood raced back to camp and woke Snowfrost. "Beetlepaw is fighting a fox alone. It was on its way to camp but he intervened." He panted. "There's no time to wake anyone else, we've got to hurry!"

Darksky stalked behind her, and, when she wasn’t prepared, jumped from behind.
Snowfrost let out a loud scream that was quickly muffled by Darksky’s paw.
Darksky places one paw over her mouth, one on her neck, and the others pinned the rest of her down.
