Skykit fell asleep, curling into the fur of his new brother happily. Lionkit joined the kitten pile with a soft squeal of happiness.

Yellowfang appeared to him and told him the prophecy, revealing to him he was the one of the Sky

Lilyflight purred again and began to groom him, too.

Floodlight checked on Snowfrost before flopping into her nest, exhausted.

Snowfrost lay in the dark, smelling forest, her head resting on her front paws.

Beetlepaw darted through the shadows, trying to find Snowfrost before Blackblood fell asleep. "Snowfrost?" He hissed quietly

“What do you want?” she asked sharply, lifting her head quickly, but relaxing a moment later when she saw who it was. “Oh, sorry. I- I thought you were someone else...”

"It's alright." He mewed, stepping out of the shadows and looking around nervously. "Are you okay? They found your body, now you're in the medicine under the careful eye of Rosethorn and Floodlight. Oh, and I brought a hare for you." He produced a giant rabbit and laid it in front of her. "I caught it before I went to bed, so it's still fresh."

Her eyes lit up. “Thank you,” she whispered, devouring the hard hungrily. She hadn’t eaten in days. “Is Rosethorn okay?” she asked, eyes widening with concern. “And Whiteshine?”

"Yeah, they're fine. Just worried about you is all. Whiteshine almost murdered Blackblood, but Lilyflight talked her out of it. Rosethorn hasn't left your side unless he's had to."

Snowfrost’s eyes shone with relief. “It’s so weird,” she murmured sadly. “Rosethorn is right next to me, but he might as well be in StarClan. I don’t even know why I’m here!”

Beetlepaw snorted. "Me and you both! I've had to stop and nap in the middle of the day because it's impossible for me to get sleep at night anymore. Are you thirsty? There's a stream around here if you are."
