Darksky sliced open one of Snowfrost’s pads, ignoring her muffled cry. Before anything could be said, she had disappeared into the forest again.

Snowfrost put her face into her other paws, the front one that had been cut bleeding freely as she didn’t even try to clean it. She didn’t have the strength.

Blackblood crouched in front of her and began to clean her pad with gentle strokes of his tongue. Once it was clean, he crawled under a bush and emerged again with a shrew. He tossed it to here and began to walk into the forest after Darksky

“Thank you,” she whispered, forcing herself to lift her head and eat the shrew. It was gone far too quickly, but it helped restore some of her strength. She drank plenty of water and drifted off into sleep.

Floodlight noticed the new wound and quickly prepared a dressing for it.

He flicked an ear, showing he heard her and caught up to Darksky.

Beetlepaw crawled from a different bush timidly and grabbed nesting materials to make a more comfortable nest for her. He also put another giant hare next to her

She murmured her thanks and devoured the whole hare before falling asleep again.

Once Floodlight had wrapped the injured paw in cobwebs, she stopped to look at the young warrior closely. Something seemed different. She was thinner, but at the same time slightly rounded. Acting on her hunch, she reached out with a front paw and gently felt her belly. Her suspicions were confirmed. Snowfrost is having kits! Now we really need to get her out of there.

Once she was clean, he curled up beside her. "I'll do my best to get you out of here, but I don't know where to even start..."
