*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

"Do you know the tales of Firestar and Tigerstar and how warriors of the Dark Forest came? And the threat the Tigerstar made?"
"Yes, I am aware..." Robinstar meowed, wondering what this had to do with the prophecy. "But Tigerstar's dead, isn't he? Firestar sacrificed himself to kill him for our sakes?"

"But Mapleshade and some others are still alive. Tigerstar said they would come back. The prophecy doesn't specify the darkest pelt has to be living or in the clan."

Even though it seemed crazy at first, when the young apprentice explained herself it sort of made sense. "I suppose you're right in that it didn't specify the darkest pelt of what. It never even said whether they're in any Clan, let alone ours. But it still is highly unlikely. Is there anything else you'd like to tell me? Any other reasons you have for believing this?" she asked.

Lilyflight gave her another glance.

Sunpaw nodded "Rainpaw came to me in a dream." she started.

Robinstar was even more interested. "Continue..." she urged her gently.
"She was only a few fox-lengths away, but no matter how loud I yelled, or how fast or far I ran, she never even looked at me. I think that was a way of warning us. StarClan couldn't hear us or see us when the Dark Forest took over, just as Rainpaw didn't seem to hear or see me." Sunpaw hoped she didn't ask why Rainpaw came to her instead of going to Fearthersky.

"Hmm... That is a bit concerning," Robinstar told her. The truth was, it was more than a bit concerning, but Sunpaw was already stressed. She didn't dare say that. But it was still quite unbelievable. She didn't know what to believe. "Thank you for telling me this," she told her. "I'll discuss it with Bramblefall.

Lilyflight knew they were about to be dismissed, so she spoke up. "R-Robinstar?" she asked timidly. "If it is what we fear... Will my kits be okay."

Robinstar's gaze softened as it reached the young queen. "We'll see to it that they are, no matter what ends up happening."

Feeling comforted, she nodded when Robinstar flicked her tail, dismissing them.
