*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

(Bye! :frow)

Lilyflight saw the look in his eyes, and immediately knew what he was thinking. Awkwardly pushing herself to her paws, she padded over to him. "Let go of him," she murmured to Bramblefall.
"I can't, he is a threat that we need to take to Robinstar." He mewed firmly through the fur.

"Trust me," she urged him gently, her eyes pleading. "This isn't what he needs."
Bramblefalls eyes softened, wishing that she would understand why he couldn't. He couldn't tell her though, he couldn't think of that day without the memories coming and the tears coming. Instead he just shook his head no slowly.

*When he was an apprentice*

Bramblepaw was with his mentor Shiningtail and he was holding the scruff of a ShadowClan apprentice. Shiningtail told him to let go, it wasn't what he needed. Bramblepaw let go reluctantly, and the apprentice turned around and blinded Shiningtail before sprinting away. He vowed he would never make the same mistake again, he made Shiningtail be a useless elder, slowly rotting away until her death. She had so much potential, and it was now all wasted. He would never make that mistake again.

Lilyflight saw the tears in his eyes and gave him a gentle lick. Though she sat in front of Blackpaw and couldn't keep the sadness and pity from her eyes. She lowered her head to hide her tears.

Sunpaw nuzzled her comfortingly, she didn't like it either, but she agreed he needed to be taken to Robinstar.

Lilyflight knew that after he had tried to escape, letting him go wasn't the best idea. But she wished with all her heart they could.
Bramblefall turned around and drug Blackpaw to the leaders den sadly. When they entered he said "This apprentice needs to be dealt with."
