*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

Sunshine heaved a sigh as she sat down and curled her tail over her paws. "What do I do? My kits aren't even born yet and I'm so tired."
"Well, there's really not much you can do," Lilyflight told her honestly. "Unless you want to sleep all day. It's getting harder for me, too. Especially since I'm due in a quarter moon."

"Sleeping all day sounds wonderful, all I want to do is sit in my nest. I feel like I have a responsibility though. I feel like I have to do something or I'm no better than a burden." She sighed as she confided in Lilyflight, hoping she knew what to do.

"You're not a burden!" Lilyflight told her passionately. "I felt just the same for a while, and then I realized that I'm doing a lot more good than harm around here. You're no more a burden than a sick or injured cat. They're still fed and cared for, and so are elders, and they won't ever hunt or fight. Are they a burden? No, the warrior code says to help those who can't help themselves, and that's exactly what's happening. You won't ever be a burden, Sunshine." She gave her friend a lick.

Sunshine relaxed and felt a bit of weight lift from her shoulders. "I always assumed they deserved that help, they've worked for the Clan. I was just... you know expecting. But, I get that now. I'm glad you said that, I do feel better."

"Good," she said, feeling her eyes soften. "I'm glad."

"I'm still tired though, and I can barely walk. My kits are so heavy! How many do you think I'm having?"
"I don't know, but I think you'll have your paws full. There's something I'm worried about though, but I haven't told Bramblestar or Feathersky in case I'm worrying about nothing."

Strikewhisper hopped out and pinned it to the ground. He bit it's neck and picked it up. "This rabbit seemed slow, I wonder why it's so heavy..." His neck already ached from the weight, this rabbit was abnormally colored and carried faint twoleg scent. "This is a twolegs rabbit! We have to get it back to camp before the twoleg comes to look for it!"
"Wait what?! I could barely keep up with a twoleg rabbit?!" She said, disgusted with herself.

"What is it? You can trust me, is it about the kits?"
"Yes..." She felt her eyes fill with worry. "They should be getting heavier, which mostly they have. But it feels like something isn't right, like one's not moving or something. I don't know what, I'm just scared."
