Sunshine looked up from her fallen position, "I don't know, she just pushed me over. Birdkit, I am your mother. That language will not be permitted in this nursery under Starclan." She mewed at her wildly cursing kit who was angry she was being ignored. 'Mom, Birdkit has my tail.' 'Well, he swatted me!' "Stop both of you, yeesh!"
"Are you okay?" she asked as Sunshine stood up.
"Not really, Batkit and Birdkit are bickering! Oh, Starclan help me!"
"Listen to your mother," Lilyflight sighed. "Sunshine, I know Shallow needs to die if we are to survive, but how can I kill her?"
Bramblestar glanced around at his cats. "Of course we are." He siganaled the surrounding cats with his tail "ThuderClan, ATTACK!"
Lilyflight flinched as she heard the sounds of battle. "Oh StarClan, they've started," she whispered. "If I'm really supposed to kill Shallow, please tell me!"
Rainkit pipped up 'You are! GO!'
She gave each of her kits a loving lick. "Don't come outside," she ordered. Standing up, she took a deep breath and padded to the entrance of the nursery.
Bramblestar spotted her and saw a rogue jump on her. He was instanly by her side and flung the rogue off of her, anger surging through him. "GET BACK IN THE NURSERY!" He yowled at her.
"StarClan told me I need to kill Shallow!" she protested over the noise.
