Bramblestar watched Shallow writhe around on the ground. "Go get Lilyflight." He told Sunpaw, panting. She hurried off and found her.

Lilyflight came to find Shallow on the ground. She sank her teeth into Shallow's throat, and wouldn't let go.
Once Shallow stopped moving, Bramblestar pulled Lilyflight off of her. "She's dead." he assured her.
She nodded, trying to catch her breath. She was aching from standing for so long, and she had some scratches.
Bramblestar shook off some of the blood that was on him, and let Lilyflight lean on him, guiding her back to the nursery.
She blinked gratefully at him as she sank onto the moss. With her tail she brought her kits closer.
'Did you do it?' Rainkit asked.
Bramblestar left and returned with a poppy seed and some burdock root. He chewed the root into a pulp and massaged it into her wounds to prevent infection. He gave her the poppy seed so that she wouldn't hurt as bad.
"Thank you," she said gratefully as she licked up the seed. "Yes, I did," she said softly to Rainkit, giving her daughter a lick.
"We all did."
"Of course." Bramblestar said, leaving to take care of his own wounds and make sure the Clan was okay.
