Rainkit dove on him and batted his face a little, then let him up and said, "Let's go eat then!" She raced over to the fresh-kill pile and grabbed a mouse for her and Thistlekit to share

Birdkit shuffled, "We should go to Sunshine, we can't eat fresh kill yet." Batkit looked over and piped up, "We could try...."

Rainkit thought for a second then mewed, "Me and Thistlekit can chew some up for you guys so that way it's smaller and you can eat it."

Birdkit lapped it up and purred, "This is good!" Batkit sniffed it before tearing into it like a dog. "This is amazing!" He said with a stuffed mouth sounding more like th i amzing.

They both laughed and continued chewing it up and spitting it out until both Birdkit and Batkit had their fill. They ate what was left of the mouse.

Batkit sniffed and rolled his back. Rain started to slowly fall and he soaked it in. "I love water, I wish I could swim."

"Maybe you're a RiverClan cat!" Thistlekit joked and ran into one of the nearby dens for shelter from the rain with Rainkit right beside him.

Batkit lolled outside before shaking his pelt as it slicked, "My fur likes it to, it didn't even make me wet!" He bounded into the den.
