Batkit looked at her, needing the truth, "She killed her right?" He felt a heavy weight on his heart, yanking at his breath.

Sunpaw felt a tear slide down her cheek "Yes." She mewed softly. "But an evil cat made her, I think his name was Fangheart. He made Blackpaw try to kill me." She shuddered, remembering when she lived in fear.

Batkit shuddered, he had killed Fangheart first. Sunpaw had to know but he couldn't tall and he sank to the ground, his face filled with sobs.

Rainkit gently licked his ears. "Fangheart made her, she couldn't help it." Sunpaw tried to stretch out her neck to lick him, but her neck hurt too much to stretch that far, so with a gasp of pain she laid her head down.

Batkit purred against her soft rasping tongue. He looked at Sunpaw, "Will you keep the secret?"
