Attacking kits? Now he's gone too far! Lilyflight stepped in between the kit and warrior, pushing Raindrop back roughly. "Raindrop, that's enough! Follow me, now."

Batkit watched his father and turned away. Fleeing.

Floodkit looked at Lilyflight, "He's right... I'm just the cursed kit who came here for no reason to cause trouble."

Raindrop's cold fury tempered with slight grief and pleasure, "I knew it!"

"You are not," she told Floodkit, fiercely and gentle at the same time as she licked the kit's head. "You are a wonderful kit. Raindrop is just grieving, but is being unacceptable in attacking his Clanmates." She turned to Raindrop. "Follow me," she said curtly. Flicking her tail, she began padding across the clearing towards the leader's den.

Raindrop dropped into a crouch and bounced on her. "Don't tell me what to do! Sunshine would be alive if you had cared to notice she was sick!" He plunged her head in the snow. and forced her to the ground.

She beckoned again with her tail to Raindrop, more impatiently this time. He attacks a kit, the Clan deputy, and accuses the medicine cat of murder. Wow. She silently cursed the wounds she now had, but didn't regret not unsheathing her claws on a Clanmate.

Raindrop dropped into a crouch and bounced on her. "Don't tell me what to do! Sunshine would be alive if you had cared to notice she was sick!" He plunged her head in the snow. and forced her to the ground. He sank his claws into her shoulders and started to pummel.

With a gasp of pain and surprise, she finally had to unsheathe her claws as she forced him off of her. But she knew that this wasn't a battle she could fight for long. She had already been weakened by grief and exhaustion when she had come out of the nursery in the first place.

Raindrop bit down on her shoulder as the tange of blood filled his lips.
