"I know, I know." She soothed and laid down, bringing Snowkit to her stomach. "There was a big fight that mommy had to take care of."

"A fight?" she asked, cocking her head curiously. "Who was in it? What happened?" She started to drink hungrily while she waited for answers.

Lilyflight stepped in.

"Oh boy. So, Sunstrike, Lilyflight, Emberfeather, Raindrop, Bluetail, Floodkit, and Bramblestar were all in the fight. Raindrop attacked Floodkit for some reason, Lilyflight defended her, Raindrop unsheathed his claws, Bramblestar appeared out of nowhere and protected Lilyflight, Sunstrike helped Bramblestar, Raindrop flung Sunstrike onto a rock, Bluetail took Sunstrike's place and were finally able to calm the situation down."

"Why would Rainkit attack Floodkit?" she squealed, suddenly forgetting about eating. "Where is he now? Is everyone okay?"
 
Lilyflight sat in the entrance as she watched the kit chatter with her mother. She smiled warmly as she watched the exchange, then remembered that Sunkit would need milk soon. "Whiteshine... I'm sorry for interrupting, but Emberfeather's kitted and is too ill to feed Sunkit. Could you nurse her?"

"Rainkit didn't attack anyone. Raindrop I think is who you mean. He attacked her because he was angry that Sunshine died and he blamed it all on Floodkit. Everyone is fine and Raindrop is in the medicine den. Now, eat."

Whiteshine whipped her head around to look at her. "I don't mind at all."

"Yeah, I meant Raindrop," she chirruped, ignoring the order to eat. "Why would her death be a kit's fault?"
