*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

Thistlekit grabbed him and drug him to the medicine den. Feathersky instantly was by his side and treating his wounds.
She followed, waiting by the entrance to make sure he was okay. The sky was starting to turn gray now. They would be burying Sunshine and Swiftkit soon.

Batkit cracked an eye and was in a nursery. "Mom? Where's mom? Sunspeckle? Sunspeckle?" He tried to stand and was knocked back into a reality, he wasn't a Riverclan cat, Sunspeckle was gone, and Rainkit... Rainkit was mad. He once more tried to stand.

"Shhh," she soothed, coming to his side. She placed her tail on his back and gently pressed him into the moss.

Once she had finished, he was covered in cobwebs and herbs. She set him gently into a nest. "He just needs to rest now." She reported.

Rainkit walked out into the forest, not caring if she was breaking the rules. She found a squirrel and attacked it, taking out her anger on it and killing it. She buried it for later then climbed up into a tree and then started crying.

Lilyflight noticed Rainkit walking out of camp. Not wanting to leave Batkit unless necessary, she said, Rainkit, come back! You can't leave camp.

Emberfeather continued her pacing until she saw Batkit. She shoved Lilyflight and Feathersky away. She licked his pelt, thouroghly avoiding wounds. "It's okay. Sunshine and Sun..speckle aren't here." Batkit took comfort in her rasping tongue and soft fluffy fur. He was soon asleep, snuggled to her.

She smiled, deciding that she wasn't needed anymore. Lilyflight padded out of the den and once more asked Rainkit to come back as she made her way to the entrance.

I need some time alone she growled and then left Lilyflights mind. She continued to cry, angry for not listening to Batkit, angry that she hadn't been able to completely blind him, and angry at herself for making Batkit upset.

You can't leave camp! But she knew it was no use. Rainkit had left. Lilyflight, panicked slightly, walked over to the mourners. "Come find me if I'm not back by time of burial," she said quietly to Bramblestar.

Batkit dreamed into her mind and muttered, "My other power huh... I hope you know it wasn't your fault. My wound on my head was bad." He left and returned into the world of soft moss, feathers and Emberfeather's soft fluffy loving pelt.
