Whiteshine purred. "Of course." She got up and started leading the way towards the Sky Oak. "While we're over here, I can also show you the training hollow. They're right next to each other."

"Okay!" she bounced. She hopped off the rock and waited for Whiteshine.

Once they go there, Whiteshine stopped at the base of the tree and looked up. "Here it is." she purred. While Snowkit was marveling at it, she swiveled her ears around and sniffed, smelling a new cat's smell. One she didn't recognize. She quickly grabbed Snowkit and climbed up the tree, hoping to keep her safe, but at the same time making it easier for herself to spot the strange cat.

Snowkit stifled a noise when Whiteshine grabbed her. She knew that she wouldn't have done it unless it was for a good reason. Was there something dangerous? She shrank closer to her, nervous at this thought and at being so high up.

Once she was content with a branch a good amount of the way up that would support their weight, she set Snowkit down carefully and mewed "Stay quiet and hook into the branch with your claws so you don't fall." Then she started looking around for movement or a strange pelt.

She gave a shaky nod and clung onto the branch for dear life, wondering if there was a fox or something similar. She remembered the nursery tales about them carrying off kits who wandered too far from their mothers, and the thought made her terrified.

Whiteshine gave her a comforting lick and whispered "I scented a strange cat. I'm looking around to make sure it won't be a threat." she explained. Finally, she spotted it. It was a (Whatever the color if Wildkit's fur is) pelt. She saw how small it was and realized it must've been a kit! She grabbed Snowkit again and made her way down carefully.

Snowkit tried to make the climb easier by staying as still as possible. She looked nervously at the strange kit. If there was a kit here, would its rogue mother be around?
