OK. So Warrior Cats are feral cats. They live in the wild. The cats separate themselves into different groups, called Clans. Each cat pledges to be loyal to his or her own clan. Each clan defends its territory from the other clan(s). In a clan, there are different types of cats that have different jobs. There is a clan medicine cat, a clan leader, a clan deputy (who is second in command), Warriors (which most cats become. They hunt and fight and all that. Other cats do to, but warriors make up the bulk of the clan) Then theres Queens, which are mother cats who are taking a pause in their warrior duties because they have/are going to have kits. Elders are cats who have grown to old to fight and hunt retire and join the other elders. They are honored and cared for by the clan. Theres also apprentices. After a kit reaches 6 moons, it becomes an apprentice. Most are called to be a warrior apprentice, which means they are mentored by a warrior. Sometimes a kit will be mentored by the medicine cat. Then the kit becomes a medicine cat apprentice. A medicine cat is the clan doctor. They also communicate with Starclan, the deceased ancestors of the clan cats. Starclan is basically cat heaven.

Once he saw everyone was gathered, he began "Tonight, RiverClan cats will be trying to steal our kits!" He snarled "They will be surrounding the camp after they come into the territory by the river! I need cats to be hiding in dens and other cats to be hiding in trees, waiting to ambush!"

Blueslash lifted his head and mewed, "I can guard the elders, my clanmates have turned fox hearted, they WILL do anything and I mean ANYTHING to get what they want."

Lilyflight looked at him approvingly. He did seem to be genuinely loyal to his new Clan. She gave him a nod of approval and dwelled on what RiverClan had become.

"Very well." He nodded "I want Sunstrike and Bluetail to help guard the nursery, I want Rainpaw in the trees and Thistlepaw in the medicine den."
All the cats mentioned dipped their heads and went to where they were assigned

Snowkit peeked her head out from the nursery, feeing terrified. They wouldn't take me away from Whiteshine and Strikewhisper, from ThunderClan, would they? She whimpered in fear.
