Lark padded into the camp clearing, still dejected about Windclan spoiling her adventure the day before. It was early morning, and she had just gotten back from the Dawn patrol. She wondered when she would get her apprentice name and mentor as she sniffed around for Blackpaw.

Lark saw the tiny kit and padded over. "Hey" She meowed. "Have you ever caught the sunshine?" She asked, her eyes sparking with laughter. "Let me show you how."

"Well, the sunshine likes to play hide and seek behind the clouds a lot, so you must be very sneaky." She crouched and stepped forward on light paws towards a patch of sunshine that was resting on a rock at the edge of camp.

She moved forward, light on her paws, until she had snuck up on a ray of sunshine. Snowkit pounced, but the sun was on top of her paws. "How does it do that? Did I do something wrong?"
