Lilyflight put her tail as far around Sunpaw as it could go, and began to lick her ears in a motherly way. She nuzzled her and held her close.

Sunpaw felt Lilyflight's tail and slowly her sobs faded. Once she was done, she stood up and slowly started walking back to camp.

She shot a glance at the sun, which was almost all the way down. "We should probably be getting back now, I'm starting to get exhausted. And Feathersky will kill me if she finds out I left camp and walked on my own."
