"I do, because I like to hear your laugh." He said, also laughing. He put the tiny shrew back and instead chose a large rabbit. "Do you want to share this in the sun patch over there?" he asked, gesturing with his tail.(See you soon!)
"Then why do you...!" she didn't bother to finish. She just shook her head and laughed some more.
"Sure," she purred. She bent her head to help him carry it.
Once they had hauled it over, he helped her settle down, before he laid down beside her to eat.
Lilyflight shared the rabbit with him gratefully. It was large and juicy, and tasted wonderful.
Bramblefall was careful to eat a little less than half, just so he knew Lilyflight was going to get enough to eat.
Lilyflight noticed this. "Eat half," she urged him. "I've been laying around all day, you actually went out and did something."
"Yes, but your body needs the nutrition in order to heal." he argued, not budging.
"But you've been running around," she argued back. Honestly, if we keep up at this rate, the rabbit will crowfood by the time we've finished.
"And you have a serious injury from a fox." he mewed, still not budging.
"It's healing. I'll be fine soon," she assured him.
