"I would stop time for you if I could and you needed it." He replied as he was trotting off. He reached Magpiepaw and mewed "Do you want to do some battle training today?"

She smiled as she watched him go. Lilyflight settled down with her belly propped awkwardly to one side. She sighed happily as the sun warmed her pelt.

He gestured with his tail for her to follow him and when they reached the training hollow, He told her "You're about to be a warrior Magpiepaw. That means it's time I start going pretty hard on you, so just tell me if you need a break. Today, we are going to do a mock fight. Act like I'm a ShadowClan trespasser okay?"

"Nope, your only goal is to get me out of your territory or pin me down, or something like that. Just act like you were on a border patrol and I was hunting on your land. Go!" Bramblefall fluffed out his fur and waited for Magpiepaw to make the first move.

She lunged to the right, but veered to the left at the last minute, sliding beneath him and using all the strength in her hind legs to unbalance him. It worked well, and it gave her the advantage. Before he had time to recover, Magpiepaw had pinned her mentor fast to the floor of the training hollow.

Bramblefall expected she would use that move first, and quickly went limp, acting as if he gave up. He felt her loosen her grip a little, then he rolled the left which got him out from under her paws and jumped over her, landing on her other side to confuse her. He ran straight into her side which knocked her over and then he used his weight to pin her.
