*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

She settled down next to Robinstar, gentle grooming her fur and bowing her head. Wrapping her tail around her belly protectively, she began to silently wish Robinstar good hunting.
Bramblestar scooted closer to her, offering warmth and comfort. He started grooming Robinstar's head, not really knowing what else to do because he knew she had reached StarClan safely from his meeting with her earlier.

Whiteshine bent in her head in respect for their previous leader, but also twining her tail with Strikewhispers.
Strikewhisper whispered in her ear, "Remember that time Robinstar caught me putting ants into Windwhisp's nest. I got into soooo much trouble. She was a great leader, I miss her already..."

Whiteshine laughed quietly. "I do. Remember when we were kits and we snuck out together? She was so furious."

"Yeah, we went to the fox den. Thank Starclan, it was gone by then. Or else we might both be with her. I'm glad we ended up okay, otherwise we'd have missed out on each other." Strikewhisper pressed his cheek to hers, feeling the grief eminating off her and put a paw on hers.

"Me too." She mewed, pressing back and feeling comforted.

He took to silence and let Whiteshine rest on his shoulder. He pressed his nose to the former leader silent, cold body and whispered, "I'll miss you, till I see you in the stars." Before sitting back up.

Strikewhisper let himself fall into his mind and memories flood through his head. He gently pressed to Whiteshine as he recalled all the times Robinstar had punished him for causing trouble, helped him out, and let him off easy. He pulled out of his memories and let Whiteshine comfort him.

Whiteshine began to groom him softly to try and help him come out of his grief. "Robinstar may be gone, but she will always be with us, in our hearts, and helping us with prophecies, watching from StarClan." She whispered in his ear.

Strikewhisper looked up from his position and started to groom her fur as a way of comforting himself. "You're right." He responded, but it didn't stop the edge of sadness he still felt. "Robinstar will watch over us and our kits and our our kits. Until we join her, but I plan for that to be a long time away."
