Blackblood held his ground, using all four paws to attack from different sides and keep them a good distance away from Lark

Blackblood snarled, of course she was here. He lept onto a WindClan apprentice and raked his back and sides, drawing blood. Once he had chased away three of them, he grabbed Lark and they sped away from the battling cats together, back onto ThunderClan territory.

She led the patrol back onto ThunderClan territory, her flanks heaving. "Any serious injuries?" she asked, looking around.

"Good. Well head back to camp anyway and get patched up though. It's not a good idea to be walking around injured." She ignored Blackblood's furious look and led everyone back.

Blackblood walked along behind the patrol sulkily, knowing he could no longer avoid going back to ThunderClan
