"But this is the Dark Forest! It's frightening."

"It's alright," Lilylight soothed, walking over to the young apprentice and smoothing her ruffled pelt with her own tail. So this was the new recruit... She was hardly more than a kit! At least she wouldn't be trained. Hopefully not, at least. With Fangheart dead, maybe there would be some peace.

He raised his head and puffed out his chest. "Which means I am in charge. We will no longer train with unsheathed claws. We will no longer show cats the way to darkness, instead to the way of light." He yowled out to the surrounding cats. "Let this be a place of learning rather than a place of death and revenge!"

Moonshadow cleaned her pelt throughly and then let her up. “We leave soon, okay.”
