Redfrond blinked at her gratefully and took a bite. Feathersky dressed his wounds and gave him a poppy seed for the pain and shock. Once Rainbird was satisfied that he would be okay, she padded into Bramblestars den to tell him about the dog. "Snowpaw, come with me." She mewed.
“Okay.” A little puzzled why she had to come, she followed Rainbird into the leader’s den.
"Bramblestar?" She mewed, sliding out her claws.
She gave a squawk of fear. “Sh-Should I get Feathersky?” she asked Rainbird hesitantly.
"No." She mewed. "Herbs won't help this, I just needed you to see this."
“Wh-Why?” Hesitantly she added, “Bramblestar? It’s me, Snowpaw!”
Rainbird pushed Snowpaw behind her and bared her teeth at Bramblestar while slowly backing out of the den slowly, pushing Snowpaw out of the den slowly behind her.
“What was that?” Snowpaw gasped when they had left the den.
"That's not what matters." She mewed hesitant to tell her too much. "What matters is... that... that thing in there is not Bramblestar. It's something that has taken over his body and mind."
“What?!” she screeched, before realizing she had been too loud. Oops. “What?” she repeated, quietly this time.
