She giggled through the mouse fur as she ran into camp. Slowing her pace, she padded into the elder’s den. “Here you go!” she chirruped happily. “I caught it.”

One of the elders turned their head. "Why thank you young un'!"
“No problem!” She dipped her head and walked out, settling down comfortably in a patch of sun.
Redfrond padded up to her and mewed "Grab yourself a piece of prey, you've earned it."
“Thank you!” Snowpaw scampered to the fresh-kill pile, grabbed a thrush, then went back to her place and began eating.
Redfrond smiled fondly at her before retiring to the warriors den for a nap
Snowpaw was exhausted by the time she had finished her share. So much so that she fell asleep right there in the sun.
Sunstrike's belly began to convulse. She cried out in pain, hoping some cat would grab Feathersky. Bluetail bolted into the den, licking her forehead. "The kits are coming." She panted, grimacing with pain
Lilyflight heard the noise, and knew what it meant. She prayed silently that it went quick for her.
Bluetail bolted out of the nursery and grabbed Feathersky. They went into the nursery and Feathersky put a stick in her mouth. Sunstrike heard it snap as a little bundle of fur slid out. Soon, three kits were suckling and Bluetail was grooming each of them with love
